Product Description

High Purity Isostatic Graphite Blocks and Columns
Isostatic graphite blocks and Columns are produced by the method of Cold Isostatic Pressing (CIP).
Graphite is isostatically pressed in a purpose of ensuring uniform properties in all grain directions.
Products are used in aerospace, military industry, nuclear industry, photovoltaics, hydrogen fuel cells, anode materials, semiconductors, machinery, mold industries and other industries, as well as in light industry, textiles, chemicals, daily necessities and many other scenarios.
In the index table, the larger the bulk density, compressive strength and flexural strength, the better, and the smaller the resistivity and ash content, the better.

* The figures above are typical values, and are not guaranteed.
* The measurement temperature range for the coefficient of thermal expansion is 350 to 450°C.
* Unit conversion: μΩ·m=μΩ·cm × 0.01 MPa=kgf/cm2 × 0.098 GPa=kgf/mm2 × 0.0098 W/(m·K)=kcal/h·m·°C × 1.16
* There are other product sizes in addition to those stated above. Contact us for details.

Isostatic graphite is an ultra-fine grain graphite used for applications where the mechanical properties of other fine grain graphites are inadequate.
The term "isostatic graphite" stands for isostatically molded graphite. This means that the raw material mixture is compressed into rectangular or round blocks in a so called Cold-Isostatic-Press.

Typical properties of isostatic graphite
Extremely high thermal and chemical resistance
Excellent thermal shock resistance
High electrical conductivity
High thermal conductivity
Increasing strength with rising temperature
Easy to machine
Can be produced with very high purity < 20 ppm
